SHANDAKEN PLAYGROUNDS DESIGN PROJECT
PHCC is teaming up with the Forever Wild Shandaken Parks Playground Project to give our youth the opportunity to add their designs for what our playgrounds could be. We will be building playground ideas with clay and natural materials during the Phoenicia Farmers Market in Pine Hill on Sunday Dec 10th & Dec 17th from 12 to 2 pm.
Bring the kids & their ideas to envision future play spaces at Parish Field (Phoenicia), Big Indian Park, Glenwood Park (Shandaken) Smith Park (Pine Hill). It's free for children while the grown ups shop at the @phoeniciafarmersmarket.
ART GALLERY EXHIBITION ARTIST RECEPTION
The Gallery at the Pine Hill Community Center presents the photography of Christein Aromando and the paintings of Sheila McManus, two artists who represent the very urban and very rural in their work, and whose takes on traditional art forms--black and white street photography, plein air painting--have a distinctively contemporary edge that sets them apart.
ARTISTS TALK
Please join us for an Artists Talk with The Catskilled Crafters who will discuss their work on display in our current exhibition Thinking Inside The Box. Meet the artists and hear more about their inspiration and creation of these intriguing dioramas.
